Before Sunrise is built with your privacy as a first principle. We believe an alarm clock has no reason to know anything about you beyond what it needs to ring on time.
Data Storage
All data (your location, alarm preferences, and settings) is stored locally on your device. Nothing is transmitted to external servers. There is no account system, no cloud sync, and no remote database.
Location Data
You provide a city name during setup. The app uses its geographic coordinates solely to calculate sunrise and Fajr prayer times. Your location is never transmitted off your device, shared with third parties, or used for any purpose beyond alarm calculation.
Analytics and Tracking
Before Sunrise does not include any analytics frameworks, tracking pixels, advertising SDKs, or telemetry of any kind. We do not collect:
- Usage data or behavioral analytics
- Device identifiers or fingerprints
- Crash reports sent to third parties
- Advertising or marketing data
Third-Party Services
The app does not communicate with any third-party services. All sunrise, sunset, and Fajr calculations are performed locally on your device using built-in astronomical algorithms.
Your Rights
Since we don't collect any data, there is nothing to request, modify, or delete from our side. You can remove all app data at any time by deleting the app from your device.
