Privacy Policy
Before Sunrise is built with your privacy as a first principle. We believe an alarm clock has no reason to know anything about you beyond what it needs to ring on time.
Data Storage
All data is stored locally on your device. Location search uses Apple's MapKit during initial setup. No accounts, no cloud sync, no tracking.
Location Data
You provide a city name during setup. City search and autocomplete use Apple MapKit services, which may send your search query to Apple to return matching places. After a place is selected, the app stores the coordinates on-device and uses them only to calculate sunrise and Fajr prayer times.
Analytics and Tracking
Before Sunrise does not include any analytics frameworks, tracking pixels, advertising SDKs, or telemetry of any kind. We do not collect:
- Usage data or behavioral analytics
- Device identifiers or fingerprints
- Crash reports sent to third parties
- Advertising or marketing data
Third-Party Services
The app uses Apple MapKit only for city-name search during setup. Before Sunrise does not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or external tracking services. All sunrise, sunset, and Fajr calculations are performed locally on your device.
Your Rights
Since we don't collect any data, there is nothing to request, modify, or delete from our side. You can remove all app data at any time by deleting the app from your device.
